Buying a JAGUAR car anyone? If yes, then read what follows before you even go to your closest showroom. When you buy a car from a brand like Jaguar you do that beacuse you expect more. More than what a common car brand in India usually offers, right from the car to thr after purchase experience. Sadly, Jauguar India dissappoints. Jaguar has showed me the worst customer services and after sales & service experiece!! I bought a Jaguar XF around nine months back expecting it to be the best buy i could get given its brand name and performance. Four days back I was travelling back home with family on the Solapur - Pune highway. It was 2:30 at night when the car stopped midway and refused to move from the middle of the road. The speedometer flashed ENGINE SYSTEMS FAULT. For a car that hasnt even run 2000km the system fails? But then its a machine and I accept that anything can happen. Anyways, we called the 24*7 jaguar helpline where the executive was more concerned about the details of the car rather than sending us help first and doing the formalities later? Is this what i should expect when i buy a vehicle from a premium brand like Jaguar?? So moving forward the executive says he has dispatched help and that they will reach in an hour with a technician. So, I waited with my family next to the car for help to turn. An hour went by but the help turned up at not before it was 6:30 in the morning. Three hours too late, making me wait the entire night at a highway with no help at all. As if they had no imagination about the situation they sent just a toeing truck with no breakdown service or a vehicle for me to travel with family. Today now back in Pune when i went to the showroom to check on the repairs the executive tells me the car was jacked cause we used it too little. Really? So, a car by Jaguar wont work if you dont use it for a week, a moth, or a year?? Sorry, I wasnt told Jaguars work like this! I expected it to be a class apart with no hassles and an extremely smooth ride but what i got was a scratched car delivered home that pulls to the left when driving and the passenger seat is all shaky when at high speeds. All this in a brand new first buy Jaguar XF. Ive had better overall experience after buying a Renault Duster but sadly Jaguar seems like the worst company to deal with for the price you pay and the luxury and hassle free experience they promise. Trust me you get nothing but caresless response from the company and lame excuses for the faults in a car that in the first place should be nothing short of bulletproof for the price the cars command. If someone at Jaguar ends up reading this, I wont ever recommend anyone to buy a JAGUAR come what may! Go buy a TATA Nano and youd be a super satisfied customer man.
