By 8:00 am tomorrow, my husband will have worked a total of 42 hours in 3 days. The hours that he hasnt been at one of his two jobs can be broken down like this; 10 hours serving his family by watching his 3 children/cleaning/making dinner while I was at work or on the road, 10 hours serving others by spending the majority of the day at church leading the new middle school ministry, worshipping, and then staying after to teach Financial Peace University, 4 hours serving his wife, by listening to me vent my petty problems and insecurities and then agreeing to watch When Harry Met Sally, and a measly 6 hours to himself...to sleep.... Lets not forget that his JOB as a firefighter/paramedic is by definition, serving others. ALL of it, without a single complaint. ALL of it done with 100% of his ability and heart. THAT is a husband. THAT is a man. Jon Sanchez, you are everything.
