By Angie Toby:Just wanted to mention that my son, Cameron Rice, won the NFL PPK event that was held a couple months ago at Newberry College. Good Luck to him this weekend as he travels to Lugoff-Elgin High School on Saturday, Nov. 2nd to compete at the next level- the Sectional Competition level. He will be competing with other winners in the state in his age group (8-10 year olds). The ultimate winner will get to attend and be recognized at an NFL football game. Cameron is a 3rd grader at WCS, and is the son of Angie Toby of Whitmire, and Constant Gene Rice of Union. Thanks and Good Luck to Cameron.
