By Bankole Andrew Abioye ************************ ..........OF DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS(A journey to having a successfully dream life and interpretation)part 1 ****************** Today, we will take a quick look at the matter of dreams. Some folks dont believe in dreams, while others do. Let me begin by saying this. We have two types of revelations or vision namely: 1. Open visions 2. Closed visions Under open visions comes trance, etc. and under closed visions comes Dreams, etc...(Let’s not digress into those areas) however let’s get it clear that dreams are one of the various forms of visions from the Lord. God instructs and speaks to us through our dreams. Job 33:14-16 What is a dream? Simply, a dream is a vision given to you while you are asleep (night vision) Secondly, we have three categories of dreams 1. Divine dreams: These are God given dreams to warn, instruct, or direct you. And they can be subdivided into 2 types namely: a. Prophetic dreams: These are dreams that dont really need interpretation.Their messages are very obvious e.g. Gen 37:5-8 b. Parabolic dreams: These are in a parable form and they need interpretation by the wisdom and the Spirit of God. Gen 40:5-8 2. Demonic dreams: These are satanic infiltrations into our lives as they seek to execute their obnoxious agenda. These dreams are often referred to as night mares. These dreams are to be rejected and nullified in aggressive and authoritative prayers. (This is the reason why some believers dont like or believe in dreams because these dreams are anti-scripturaland negative in nature) 3. Human or Activity induced dreams: These dreams come as a result of multitude of activities or imaginations. This is the major reason why several sisters dont believe all those i saw you in my dream PROPOSALS given by brothers. It’s like a banker dreaming of money When you are able to categorize your dreams then you are on your way to having a successful dream life and interpretation.Actually dreams dont worry me too much because when they come, I begin by categorizing them first in my spirit. Then I know what to do next. HAVING done this, the next thing is to understand the difference between dream interpretation and dream translation…………. To be continued
