By Chemastan Luka Biwott POLITICAL TERRORISM: STRANGERS DEMONSTRATE AT KAPSOWAR MARAKWET WEST FOLLOWING A SERIES OF PLANS CARRIED OUT IN ELDORET TOWN. I consider it unfair for the two MPs Hon. Kagogo Bowen, and Hon. Kisang to engage the innocent electorate in undefined demonstrations following the willful resignation of IG Kimaiyo. It is ironical that the state of multidimensional prosperity in the two constituencies is still lagging behind, in which the two Mps should have been improving. It is wrong for them to convert Kapsowar to be their active place to stage necessary demonstrations rather than articulating important issues in the national assembly. I.e The embobut evictees crises, the dilapidated infrastructure, youth unemployment, improving education, helping the aging population, the vulnerable members, establishing public tertiary institutions that are still lacking. I expected such demonstrations organized by the Mps to highlight the plight of the genuine evictees whose money was squandered by the same politicians and their allies. I am really disappointed with the approach that the leaders are using to score their political mileages. It is unfortunate that we lack transformative leaders. To hit the nail on the head, the village differences between senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Hon Bowen should not be transformed to the entire marakwet community. I appeal to all the esteem Marakwet people to stop being misguided to pull out from the jubilee government because of petty agreeable issues. Let the two Mps leave the parties which sponsored them to power as per their will. I thank the former president Moi for the advice to the inspector general David Kimaiyo to retire hoping to serve the nation at other fields of his ability and pray that the jubilee government will recognize the learned Kimaiyo in other relevant fields that he may qualify to work in. Finally, let us work to better our nation because politics often fades, but the state vision remains intact.
