By Dan Ambrose: Former WBA junior middleweight champion Austin Trout (26-1, 14 KO’s) wasn’t impressed at all in the way that Saul “Canelo” Alvarez fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. last September in a 12 round decision losing effort. Trout says Canelo’s performance not only made him look bad, but it also made himself look bad because he had lost to Canelo last April, albeit by a decision that Trout didn’t agree with. Trout said this via Golden Boy Promotions twitter “I kept thinking ‘@caneloOfficial is making us both look bad’ during his fight with Floyd Mayweather. I could’ve done better.”
