By Darlingtone Kabambe Nkoyas and Mbundas cautioned/one KAOMA/ZANIS/August 29, 2013 = = = Two cultural associations in Kaoma district representing the Nkoya and Mbunda speaking people in Western province has warned its people to avoid engaging themselves in the secession activisms happening in the province. Kaoma Kazanga cultural association and Cheke cha Mbunda cultural and Writers association district secretaries Jack Shipwesha and Liale Mubanga said this in a joint statement made available to ZANIS today. Both Shipwesha and Mubanga said the Nkoya and Mbunda speaking fraternity should desist from directly and indirectly engaging in activities that may link them to the secession activism in the province. They said that the motive of those agitating for the secession of Western province from the rest of country is nothing but purely a tribal agenda rather than a regional one. The duo said the motive of the secession of the province is designed to ultimately benefit the Lozi speaking group whereas the non- Lozi category should not expect anything less than total servitude at the hands of the Lozis. Shipwesha and Mubanga said any Nkoya or Mbunda subject who may allow oneself to get caught up in the secession fracas should have one self to blame for the consequences that may follow as a result of their involvement. They said Nkoyas and Mbundas does not totally support the move taken by their lozi brothers in the province as the move calls for treasonable charges if found guilty. ENDS/DK/ZANIS/KAOMA
