By Dave Bacon Tomorrow SNFU leaves North America for the wonderful sights and scenery of Europe and Scandinavia. Were playing a whole bunch of club shows and festivals, and well be meeting up with a bunch of long-time friends in a bunch of other bands, and were excited to be meeting a bunch of new friends as well. Were really excited to be heading back to Europe. Personally, I cant wait for Germany, Spain, Sweden, Finland and Slovenia to name a few. Regrettably, our drummer from the last tour, Adrian White, will no longer be joining us on the SNFU stages. Were sorry to see him go and wish him the best in health and in his future endeavors. So were now operating as SNFU v26.5. We have Jamie Oliver coming on board for Europe and Scandinavia. Jamie plays with the UK Subs, and his band The Izuna Drop, among others. By all accounts, this dude can rip on the skins! And plays a mean tambourine, too, as I just watched tape of him up on stage jammin with Eddie Vedder and the Pearl Jam boys on Friday night. Ironically, and this is kinda funny, hes gonna be looking for Somebody Better Than Eddie Vedder in a couple of days. Were totally stoked to have the opportunity to play with such an in demand drummer, welcome aboard Jamie! Jamie has to head back to England to do the new Subs record, so while hes gone and were touring in Spain, we will have another in demand drummer, Senor Txutxo Krueger who blazes the skins for the Exploited, Total Chaos, and Vice Squad, among others! Txutxo will play five shows with us in Spain, and hell also be a translator and la guia to us. Were also looking forward to him poking our eyes out with his awesome pink and purple super mohawk. We hear hes a sweetheart of a guy. Nothing left to say but #VamosTxutxo! We are super stoked to be coming back to Europe! It all starts off in Frankfurt this Friday!
