The record holder for Côte d’Ivoire appearances has asked the coach to grant him a leave on his late arrival on Tuesday with Diarrassouba Ousmane Viera. But Sabri Lamouchi rejected his request since he was late for the pre-match training camp. The French-Tunisian also informed him of his decision to give back the arm-band to Didier Drogba, prompting the abrupt departure of the veteran. The coach’s attempts to reach him remained unsuccessful, but Lamouchi wished to play down the incident on Thursday evening. «The most important thing for me is the national team.
