By Michael Yon Thailand: Continued Acts like this will destroy tourism Billions will be lost per year if this is not stopped. People will go out of business. We had a similar problem in Florida many years ago. Tourists were being killed. Many tourists stopped coming to Florida. Big money was being lost -- so law enforcement came down hard on criminals who attacked foreigners, and it worked. (Other actions also were taken, such as making rental cars look like local cars.)
