By Peter Joseph [ Official ] Having watched the growing news reports surrounding social/racial injustice emitting from the power establishment - from Michael Brown, to Eric Garner, to Rumain Brisbon and many others in the past few weeks...Im continually disappointed in the lack of focus regarding the long-term systemic generation of these acts of bias via culture. The system generated climate of bigotry and fear in the world today is not reducible to one single cop or even a general culture within a single generation... it is the result of an economic system that creates insecurity - insecurity to such an extent that as generations evolve with this fear of other groups (categorical thinking), they quickly forget the origin of those fears... which are truly rooted in a time that was deeply insufficient with sharing resources and overcoming problems with economic means. Slavery was the first incarnation of Capitalism. And today, we see the long-term echos of this ancient process of human exploitation and subservience. Those police who commit these crimes we are now seeing are just extensions of an ancient value system which has been forgotten -- and which can only be truly changed if it is recognized. Sadly...few are making this recognition. Just more us against them bullshit. My contribution: https://youtube/watch?v=IeswJY0o2uA
