By Rakesh Reddy Dubbudu For all the talk of maximum governance, the BJP government has done little in these 4 months to promote the cause of transparency. 1. They are yet to appoint the CIC in the Central Information Commission. They are using LOP as an alibi while the fact remains that LOP is not required for this appointment. 2. The Prime ministers website is yet to put up proactive disclosures mandated under Sec 4 of the RTI act. 3. The government is yet to notify rules for implementing The Whistle Blowers Protection Bill, vital to protect whistle blowers.
