By Robert Watson Jr. A busy but nice weekend out here on the South Shore. We had a great group of familys in our rental units who all seemed to enjoy the weekend and their stay at Watsons Harverene Resort . There were some things that came up (fix-it) and my work list got bigger this weekend, but over all, a very nice weekend. It was a great weekend at Watsons Alpenhorn Cafe. Broke records for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and we may have even broken a new record for today. The kids up there did a super job, even when we lost some power for the POS, Smoothy Machine and back room, and lost our phone and internet another time. Thanks Scott Housden and crew. At Shadow Bay Belgians , we still do not have a foal as of about 7:45pm. Another night at the barn but the last three nights have been so much fun with daughter Hayley. Watching some good old classic Westers and some special Father/Daughter time. We enjoyed getting to see daughter Mandy Marie Watson and meeting her room mate. Sorry I could not enjoy dinner at The Horn because of the power thing but still great to see you and to see you happy. Also loved seeing Son Robert H. Robert Watson III and Kristina Marie Simpson and that beautiful granddaughter. What a joy she is. So, there you have it. This next week we sure hope to see a healthy foal born. Also look forward to getting a couple new wagons home from Califoria. Special thanks again to all the employees at Watsons Resort and Watsons Alpenhorn Cafe as well as all the help from my Dad (lawns, pool, etc.) getting ready for the big weekend and to all our guests and tenants.
