By Tigger and tommy jones — 21 hours ago Blessings this am.. we are all shocked but happy:) we were told yesterday it would be at the end of the week potentially to be able to draw blood for stemcell collection:) This 3 am wbc labs were 1.0 from 0.2 yesterday. Beautiful blessings that his blood counts are recovering :) The wbc lab results needed to be 1.0 to be able to collect the specific lab to determine if he is ready to collect stem cells . The minimum number on his stemcell collection is 10 and his were 95 today!!!! we get to start our stemcell collection. Blessings.. that his body is reacting in a positive manner:) and blessings that he doesnt have to have the cathater in his neck all week. They will collect 1-3 days pending the stemcell count. Their goal is 40 million.... end of the day ...update.. carter blood center has tallied up the total and we have 16 million stem cells that were collected this round.. woohoo so potentially only one more day of collection to reach our 40 million goal.
