By: Yawah Jaivey in kakata, Margibi County Kakata, Margibi Two convicted inmates at the Kakata Central Prison, else while known as “Carter High” are reported escaped in an alleged jail break that happened Wednesday night of August 7, 2013. According to source, the escapees Abraham Yarwo serving 10 years jail sentence convicted for gang rape and Amara Musa Kamara convicted to 15 years imprisonment for armed robbery allegedly escaped at about 9pm Wednesday evening. Abraham was 2 years ago sentenced to 10 years of correctional and rehabilitational imprisonment by the 13th Judicial Circuit Court, while Amara was declared prime suspect by state prosecutors in the most recent Kakata Eco Bank robbery case and was served a guilty verdict just under two months ago. It can be recalled Amara Musa Kamara and others were investigated and sent to court on December 5, 2013 by the Liberia National Police in the County, for Criminal Conspiracy, Burglary, Criminal Mischief and Armed Robbery in the Kakata Eco Bank Armed Robbery Case, but with one Sheik Papa Donzo as principal defendant. Following months of legal battle, the prosecution nollyprosekwa the case against the alleged main defendant, determining him and one other as state witnesses; the Prosecution led by Margibi County Attorney saw Amara Musa Kamara brought down guilty for armed robbery and sentenced to any prison center for 15 years in the Republic of Liberia. There is no information yet on how the convicted inmates escaped the protective custody and walls of the kakata Central Prison but investigation is to launched. Meanwhile when contacted, the prison authorities at the Kakata Central Prison could not speak to the issue. At the same time, in the face of the alleged jail break, the Kakata Central Prison, “Carter High” has been faced with persistent over crowdedness synonymous to the regular over crowdedness of the Court Docket.
