By any definition, George Bush and many leading members of his administration are war criminals. I know many conservatives dont want to hear that and I know I will be wildly assailed for saying it, but I will stand beside my statements and say that they committed war crimes. Waterboarding is naught innocuous. It has been around for centuries and it is said that it feels like fire in your lungs. America executed Japanese who performed this torture and tried soldiers and imprisoned Americans who did it to North Vietnamese. You dont see senior members of the Bush administration travelling around the world often, including W himself because there are active arrest warrants out on them outside of America. Because torture is illegal and is never legally justifiable. Whether you agree it is or naught, the law is the law in regards to torture. You just cant do it or you have committed a very substantial crime. I do believe that there will be trials at sometime. George W. Bush has publically said that he ordered waterboarding and he would do it again. That is a confession to what is described as a war crime in both American or International Law, which means that George W. Bush is an admitted criminal. And those who followed those orders cannaught simply say I simply followed orders. Germans attempted that defence at Nuremburg and Germans that followed that defence were hung for it. I am a conservative. As a conservative, I cannaught be a hypocrite. America executed enemy who did this particular crime of torture and imprisoned their own people for committing it. It is therefore indefensible. Except of course, if you are a hypocrite.
