By creating division in this country that has not been seen since before the union ? I have never seen such unashamed/thinly veiled hatred of English people as you can hear now in virtually EVERY social hub in Scotland now. The dynamo behind this movement toward Independence (under control of Europe, if they let us in...the supreme irony!) is ABE anything but England. It is an undeniable fact Scotland has done better and has been more unified as part of the union than at at any time prior to that. That ABE logic is insane, England is NOT responsible for inequality and failure in Scotland. Individuals make choices and must live by those and take responsibility for their own actions (or in many cases a complete Lack of actions). This is a particularly unstable point in history and to deny there is hugely devastating capacity for catastrophic failure of SNPs ill devised and blinkered policies is less than short-sighted. Norwegians voted for independence with a 99.5% majority or similar, we are split virtually half way and I am saddened to say much of the Yes vote is NOT borne on the back of progress and harmony but division and prejudice....not in my view a good basis for starting nation building.
