By now; everyone in America has heard that our Government had sold one of the greatest fighting ships of all time for scrap, for a mere penny. Thats right, a penny for a ship that cost us taxpayers millions of dollars to build and millions of taxpayer dollars to retrofit and refurbish. I am talking about the USS Forrestal CV59. What about Veterans rights? She is a Veteran too; a Veteran of many wars. She has had many of us serve on her and she deserves to be treated with more dignity and respect, than to be sold for scrap for a mere penny. We need everyone to like and then share this status. Also; everyone flood the phone lines of your Congressmen/Congressmen and Senators, tell them this action is deplorable and downright wrong. Let them know that the USS Forrestal CV 59 should be kept and preserved either as a museum or artificial reef, in memory of all those who gave their lives on her for this country.
