By now, most of us who are setting New Year goals or making resolutions have settled on WHAT those plans are; but whats your WHY? In other words, have you determined why youre ready to make certain personal or professional changes in 2015, and do your answers hit home enough to help you stay focused? Its been proven that if you can name your why and that reason holds significant personal meaning (rather than being driven by peer pressure, cultural norms or people pleasing) youll be more likely to succeed. So take some time this weekend to ask yourself why you want to achieve the goals on your 2015 list, and what about those reasons are worthwhile enough to help you persist, sacrifice when necessary, and keep moving forward. For #TBT, Ill share one of my WHYs - the reason I why I write. Enjoy this video segment from the womens empowerment brunch I hosted in October to learn my motivation for penning womens fiction novels and the inspirational posts I share in this space.
