By now youve heard the tragic news that actor, comedian, Robin Williams is dead. Early reports is that Robin took his own life after suffering from severe depression. I go way back with Robin Williams to his days of Mork. Hes made us laugh, hes made us cry. Today let him make us think. Depression and addiction are real. Its not something limited to Hollywood. Its alive and well in our families, our neighborhoods and our workplace. What can we do to help? Lets not put the lives of our friends and loved ones in the hands of a toll free number. Its easy to plaster a smile on your face and throw out a few jokes. To throw back a few beers with friends and swear everything is all right. We need to have group in schools, in our communities to be there. To stop that last, very final decision. It starts with you. Will you be there?
