By popular demand here is a photo of Claire and HER truck…. It is a big thing – can you drive anything bigger on a standard licence? Drives OK, but still gets blown about a bit (by wind, road trains as they over taken me etc. Claire’s day consists of making breakfast (porridge), fare-welling Andrew on his daily ride, and then packing up the Truck to hit the road. Place dependent, I may then take in some sightseeing, pick up any supplies (if needed or available), catch up with Andrew for lunch and a cycle (I ride for a bit each day with Andrew, then go back to get the truck). I then work out where to stay the night and with 150Km behind Andrew and bike, be there to see him roll in. Andrew then gets a leg massage (lucky bloke ;) ), followed by dinner. I always cook for three (pasta/rice carbo overload) so I can give Andrew another serve of the same at lunch the next day. The it is relax time – book, emails etc and blessed sleep. Well, we have turned East again – yay another milestone reached. Andrew is doing famously! We will be camping rough for the next few nights and probably have no internet for a while.
