By simultaneously guiding us to our life purpose and blessing us with a newfound sense of appreciation, the dark night of the soul prepares us for the most exciting time of our lives, which is the fulfillment of our highest cause and the reason we initially incarnated on Earth. We discover the beauty of duality, and how for every cold dark night there is a beautiful sunny day right behind it. We surrender our ego and connect to our high self. We learn to stop searching outside ourselves for answers and start looking within, becoming one with ourselves like never before. The most important lessons of the dark night of the soul are the concepts of gratitude and divine order. We gain a new sense of appreciation that accelerates our level of success and we see how every single event in our lives had to happen exactly the way it did in order to create the path of spiritual growth that is the most appropriate for our own evolution.
