C&C Drums... I have been playing them for a couple of years now. A very soulful instrument from a very soulful company. My buddy Craig hipped me to them some years back as prior to moving to L.A. he was working in their shop. Craig had one of the most unique wrapped kits I had ever seen. They covered the shells in some rare NOS Cream wrap covering that they had acquired from a defunct accordion company, they Re-Purposed some old Slingerland Lugs and they sounded amazing. Years later upon meeting Ben Harper and Co., I played Bens C&C kit and saw the progress and direction they were going in and loved the individuality factor immediately. These drums are truly made by hand, one drum at a time and as a result, whether its a stock production kit or a special order, what you get is a one of a kind. If you see a kit, take a minute and hit it, tune it, play it and appreciate it for the individuality it delivers... Really they are a one of a kind. Every kit is a work of art and if in your world individuality reigns supreme, this is a drum for you. Even if you play other brands or prefer one brand over the other, everyone should add some C&Cs to their collection... When you do, your drum will truly be your own.
