Thambi Naidu – a Tamil Militant, who later turned in to a great associate of M K Gandhi in his Civil disobedience movement against the Whites of South Africa on the racial discrimination. As per Guha Thambi Naidu played a key role in formatting the younger years of M K Gandhi who turned in to a Mahathama later. Guha also says while we all know about the secondary characters of Nehru, Patel, Jinnah and Ambedkar, most of us do not know much about the primary characters like Gujarthi Jeweller Pranjivan Metha, Tamil Militant Thambi Naidu, Jewish radical Henry Polak and Sonia Schlesin who all played a key role shaping up Gandhi in to Mahathma Later. Thought of Sharing a Tamil Leader who was closely associated with Gandhi on his birth anniversary.
