C.U. Bands and Fans Posted by Terry Miller · 2 minutes ago I am truly saddened at the passing of Adam Masterson; Adam was a DJ, Karaoke host many times with Jamie Norton and often at Memphis on Main. I was invited to check them out one night and prompted to go to MOM by Barry Land & Aaron Smith - I went, I checked them out and I LOVED the Karaoke show they put on, it was a SHOW for sure!! Jamie and Adam both were very interactive walking through the crowd with a mic in hand and singing along with the person on stage and or getting on stage themselves- it was not typical Karaoke it was a wonderful fun perfect mix of art & entertainment. A few weeks ago when I had met Jeremy Harper in regards to our line up for our upcoming CUBAF Anniversary Party, Adam was sitting outside MOM on break with his wife Kristen Masterson, he said Hey Terry, how is it going? I stopped and chatted with them for some time, he was so encouraging and complimentary of what we are doing here w CU Band and Fans; he was planning on coming to the event and of course he had some loving funny things to say about Barry & Aaron lol!! Adams last words to me were full of life, love and encouragement - I was going to swing back by later that night and catch his show, I am sorry I could not work the time out for it. You dear Adam will be sorely missed, thanks for all you gave us!!
