CAF throws out Uganda Under-17 protest The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has thrown out the protest lodged by Uganda over complaints that Zambia fielded over-age players in the last round of qualifying for Niger 2015. Uganda protested that captain Patson Daka, Changwe Kalale and Enock Mwepu were over 17 years old and asked CAF to disqualify Zambia. Zambia ejected Uganda 4-1 on aggregate to book a maiden place at the CAF Under-17 finals to be held in Niger next February and March. FAZ protested its innocence saying the era of cheating was long gone and that Chris Kaundas boys were subjected to the mandatory MRI scans which ascertain ages of the players. CAF has since told the Uganda federation FUFA that no Zambian player was over-age.
