CAFFE ORGANO M E D I A R E L E A S E May 2009 Sabio Communications Ciro Beverage Solutions adds organic coffee to its offering Ciro Beverage Solutions has launched one of the first Organic coffee blends in South Africa � Caffe Organo. Caffe Organo will ensure that all restaurants, coffee shops and hotels are meeting the growing requirements of their consumers, keeping health and quality at the forefront. Organic coffee is a fast growing phenomenon and suppliers need to keep up with the changing trends in the consumer market. Consumers are becoming more aware of the importance of environmentally friendly practices. According to Thuli Cele, Product Manager for Ciro Beverage Solutions, Caffe Organo is spot on in meeting the needs of its consumers. �Consumers are always looking for a product that is extra special and Caffe Organo will show that we are innovative in trying to meet consumers� needs,� says Cele. Organic beans that are imported from certified organic estates around the world are used to produce Caffe Organo. These organic beans are transported under stringent conditions where they are not allowed to mix with non organic coffee beans. Once the Ciro Beverage Solutions factory receives the organic beans, they store them in silos dedicated only to organic beans. When the time is right the beans get roasted in a roaster dedicated to these organic beans which are then packed, in the same room as the roasting, and then shipped to customers. What makes Caffe Organo truly organic is the fact that the blend has received certification from Ecocert. Ecocert, an international organic certification organisation was in charge of certifying the product. �It is wonderful news that Ecocert has given Caffe Organo the thumbs up,� adds Cele. Ecocert has approved the entire organic process of Caffe Organo from the bean received for roasting, the factory and the roasting procedures. This official recognition means that the coffee provided by Ciro Beverage Solutions is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides. To compliment the organic offering of this product, Caffe Organo�s packaging meets the requirements of Ecocert in terms of the information provided and the design. The packaging has stylish, warm and earthy colours which are in line with the Caffe Organo blend. �We worked very hard to ensure that Caffe Organo is a completely organic experience, and every step that was taken in product development leaves behind a green footprint,� says Cele. Consumers can embrace the flavour of Caffe Organo when visiting selected restaurants, coffee shops and hotels. As well as a being able to enjoy high quality coffee, they are guaranteed that the correct procedures have been followed to bring them this organic product. �The sweet, fruity and smooth Caffe Organo will satisfy any coffee consumer. �We feel proud to add this healthy product to our basket,� concludes Cele.
