CAI LAY HOMESTAY ( 2 DAYS) Depart at 8:30 day 1 Return : 17:00 PM day 2 Day 1: Saigon –Mytho –Cai Lay home stay AM: Our guide picks you up at your hotel at 8:30 to start a full day tour Mytho & cai Lay to a new & attractive destination of Mekong Delta. Traveling about 2 hours south from HCM city to Mytho city take a boat to Arrival at boat station My Tho , boat trip along Mekong river and around 4 islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix for sight-seeing Cruising on Bao Dinh cannel then landing on the TAN LONG fishing village and riding bicycle, on the way you enjoy the air of country sites Back to boat , crossing Mekong river, keeping on taking a boat trip along Vam Xep cannel to see daily life of local inhabitants in Ben Tre province (called coconut village), visiting QUE DUA tourist spot for bee farm and enjoying honey – tea. Taking horse-cart on the countryside road Enjoying seasonal tropical fruits and listening to traditional music by local inhabitants. Discover a small canal by rowing boat. After lunch at Mientay River site with special food , return to boat station get in car to driving to Cai Lay for home stay. Cai Lay district (Tien Giang province) - the gate way to Mekong delta , known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. The Delta is the most fertile region in the country and the main producer of rice and tropical fruits. Check in at homestay Mr Sau Nghiep house. Exploring around the village on foot in the evening Have dinner with local family. Day 2: Cai Lay –Saigon After breakfast , we start the tour with the boat sailing to see the countryside . On the way , you will see the scenery like in the jungle , dee Monkey bridge. And then you take a leisure bicycle ride around the village in 1 hour, meeting and talking with the farmers who are very friendly and kind ..you also stop at the rice field, see how farmers sowing or harvesting rice or planning water melon. You will also have an opportunity to enjoy the local hospitality with some fresh fruits, some local tea, rice wine and having lunch with elephant ear fish and Banh xeo -a special local dish - from Cai Lay. After a full day with a lot of activities there, you will say good bye to the local people and get on our car back to Ho Chi Minh city. Arrival at your hotel in HCMC at around 5PM. End of service
