CALL FOR ARTISTS AND VENDORS! Foley is reinventing the Chicago Street Farmers Market by giving it a new purpose, a new name and new hours. The new name is the Heritage Park Marketplace, which will continue to provide a downtown location for farmers to sell produce during May and June. The new market will also provide a larger variety of arts and crafts, and the time will be changed to provide more overlap with the well-known Music and a Movie in the Park, which follows. Foley is taking applications for vendors to participate in the marketplace, which will begin Friday, May 16 and run through June 27, 2014. If you and/or your family would like to sell arts and crafts, herbs, plants, vegetables, fruits, baked goods, jellies, candy, or gift items, please contact the Heritage Park Marketplace at 251-943-1300 or 251-943-1229 or email: [email protected]
