CALL FOR IMPEACHMENT 2013 The spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress, Lai Mohammed recently urged the National Assembly to impeach President Goodluck Jonathan. Such calls came when APC believed the various defections on the floor of the house which followed their merger with the G5 will give them the majority position in the house and thus the first use of its imaginary majority in d house was calls for Impeachment of Mr President..and truly, if APC had such clot of political strength in numbers and machinery,such call from its party leadership would have been put on motion and threat actualized. A flip to present events showed same party which had shown desire to impeach the No 1 man of the country,saying such is constitutional and democratic now crying foul,blaming the president,mobilizing its members and uninformed populace to protest against same procedures and tenets it earlier proclaimed and affirmed as constitutional and democratic. OR, are such constitutional and democratic instrumentality made for the exclusive use of the opposition? Why must APC also wish and desire that the leading and ruling political party PDP must always be the party suffering political/partisan casualties before things will be term and seen as right and acceptable?? Indeed, never in the history of this country has an opposition constituted itself into a rebellion against our dear nation and its corporate existence. Never in the history of this country has the opposition sought spiritedly to cause confusion to destabilize our nation using wild allegations and lies; never has an opposition resorted to instigating violence through their utterances for political capital; never has an opposition taken it upon itself to continue to insult and attack the person and office of the President and government institutions for parochial interests...And if such is the Progressive they wanna give us as a country come 2015,then we must begin to look for another!
