CALL FOR INTEREST FROM SUITABLE PEOPLE POSITION: Newcomer Supporter (Volunteer position) The purpose of the ARMS Newcomer Supporter Programme is to provide appropriate support and information for newcomers to integrate into the daily life of their local community. Volunteer Newcomer Supporters have an understanding of integration challenges and their role is to serve as a ‘guide’ for newly arrived migrants and refugees. They do this by working with local resources, services, residents and programmes to improve linkages and opportunities for participation, inclusion, and equity of access for local newcomers.
