Please fill in this form: bit.ly/1KR73Cs If you have any questions dont hesitate to contact us: [email protected] Project description: • Name: Employ your hands! • Framework: Erasmus+ KA1; Mobility of youth workers • Participating countries: EU Countries, Partner countries • Venue: Sofia, Bulgaria • Project duration: 14 days (July 2015) • Participants per country: 3 Our main aims are to: • Train participants in new skills and alternative methods to empower them for self-employability, professional crafting, or part-time jobs through arts. • Motivate and stimulate entrepreneurship and responsibility in the field of arts among youth workers and young NEETs who come from different backgrounds, cultures and countries to improve their own future. • The participants will have the chance to learn about art marketing and management tools, and test these during the exhibition at the end of the project activities by trying to promote and “sell” themselves their crafted items. For achieving these, our goals are to: • Hold seminars, workshops, presentations, sharing good practices, study visits in art venues, exhibition of the crafted products, for demonstrating the processes of creating, promoting, and selling an art item in order of stimulating entrepreneurship and initiativeness among the participants. • Introduce new methods of using traditional materials and traditional crafts practices for creating new, modern-day designs and products. • Promote the preservation of traditional crafts and handcrafting practices. • Increase knowledge and awareness about environment. A special accent shall be put on the importance of using natural, organic materials for crafting, as well as on possibilities for recycling old materials into new art items. • Organize media coverage for spreading the idea and outcomes of the project activities, and co-operate closely with partner NGOs and other interested organizations and structures. We can even consider creating an informal network of interested in arts and art practices partnering organisations to secure visibility and sustainability of the outcomes of the project. Learning outcomes: New skills and knowledge acquired during the training shall enhance the participants’ chances for alternative employment or part-time job. Greetings, YELS BULGARIA
