CALL TO ACTION - BILL SIGNING TOMORROW AM! Tomorrow, July 18 at 8:00am Rise Up Texas will gather for an unforgettable visual action that represents the deadly impact of HB2. Stand with Texas women and show Rick Perry, the Texas Legislature, and the world that despite the dirty politics of the past month, the women of Texas and those who love them will NOT be silenced. Who: Rise Up Texas, Rick Perry, lots of media, and YOU What: Final show of resistance! Please dress in all black and carry coat hangers to represent the deadly impact of this horrible legislation. Bring your signs, coat hangers, and energy. We will carry our message silently until the moment of bill signing, when we will use our voices to convey our power so that Rick Perry and all those watching him know how Texas feels about the dirty political games of the past month. When: Assembly at 8:00am SHARP in the Capitol Grill, action to begin promptly at 8:15am.
