CALLED TO BE COURAGEOUS DEUTERONOMY 31:6, ROMANS 8:35-39, I CORINTHIANS 16:13-14, I TIMOTHY 6:11-16(NKJV) Some days it is very difficult to muster up courage to fight the battles of life. God never promised us that it would be easy, but He did promise that He would never leave us alone to fight the battles. Our strength for the battles of life comes from our faith in the Creator of all that is. He knows the battles we will face before we ever know, and He has a plan to give us everything we need to be conquerors over the battles – whether the battle be within ourselves, with others, with right and wrong, or for injustices in this world. It does not matter what your battle is today, all that matters is that you know that you are not alone in the battle. The Lord is leading the battle and He is your rear guard. The victory goes to those faithful warriors who courageously go wherever God leads. Lord God, I thank you for fighting every battle I have with me. I know it is by Your strength I can do all things. You are my Rock, my Protector, my Best Friend. You are my Lord and Savior. With You by my side I can do all things by Your strength. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Deuteronomy 31:6 6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done with love. Romans 8:35-39 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 Timothy 6:11-16 11 But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13 I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14 that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, 15 which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
