CALLING ALL CRAFTERS! Would you like to have a stall in a prime location within Aberdeen City Centre? Interested in showcasing your work over the Easter Period (Monday 7th April to Monday 21st April)? What do you say to all of the above being offered to you for FREE?! Aberdeen Inspired are looking for crafters, artists and high quality contemporary makers (no food/drink vendors, please) to be part of a two week Easter Event, which will attract families into the heart of the city. Situated at Union Terrace Gardens, the stalls will be located under the arches – so “all weather friendly” and open from 10am to 6pm each day. Aberdeen Inspired are organizing various activities in the gardens, and Aberdeen Play Forum will be organizing activities on alternating weekdays also. There’ll be a buzz about Union Terrace Gardens – and you can be part of it! There’s no charge for renting a stall, all we ask is that each stallholder provides a FREE family friendly activity from 11am to 3pm each day. This does not need to be anything complex or expensive, perhaps a mini Treasure Hunt that you print up, encouraging families to look at the various items of interest within UTG. Or you could provide free facepainting sessions during the allocated hours? Maybe you could help children make a craft item? It’s up to you but the activity MUST be child-friendly AND free. In return you will be allocated a stall, for as many – or as few – days as you wish, so that you can sell, or simply showcase, your craft/product.
