CALLING ALL MACGREENERS: - Interested in getting involved around campus? - Want to learn more about the Cootes to Escarpment Park System? - Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and passion with the public? We are looking for student volunteers who are willing to help us assist local business owners (i.e, in Westdale) with their fundraising campaigns. Your role (in groups of two) will be to assist a local business owner for a 3 hour shift, where you will be available to answer customer questions about the Cootes to Escarpment Park System. Commitment will not exceed one (weekend) day a month. MACgreen is dedicated to raising money to acquire land for the Cootes to Escarpment Park System, and although we raised an amazing $12,000 last semester with Colour Me Rad, we are still going for the gold and trying to get to $25,000! Wed be tickled pink (or green if youd like) if any MACgreeners would come out and help us with this! (Non MACgreeners welcome as well of course!).
