CALLING ALL OHIO PARENTS * TEACHERS * KIDS * GRANDPARENTS * TAXPAYERS: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF COMMON CORE? By tomorrow we will issue directions on how you can let your voices be heard. How has Common Core affected your life or those of the people you care about? As a parent, what changes have you seen in your childs attitude about math? What is homework like at night? As a teacher, what ramifications have you seen in your students, how does it restrict you and how you will teach once the tests are implemented? As a student, how much more frustrations are you feeling and how is it affected your love of learning? As a taxpayer, what costs do you see Common Cores start-up and maintenance will have on your school districts bottom line, what will the costs be to our freedom as a state or for our local school boards? Do you have a copy of questionable or a particularly confusing piece of homework? We want to hear from ages 7 to 97! Start organizing your thoughts - we will need to submit them probably by Monday 5:pm.
