CALLING ALL SENIOR SECTION MEMBERS.... There is a very exciting opportunity coming up for Senior Section members in April 2014 and we think you Young Leader out there might be interested! Girlguiding North West England has organised a fantastic 6 day adventure holiday which is open to all Senior Section members wanting to experience an activity trip. As well as being lots of fun, this trip is also a brilliant way for Young Leaders to complete their Queen’s Guide or Duke of Edinburgh residential. To be held at the Venture Centre on the Isle of Man, all participants will get to enjoy a fun-filled programme that is packed full of new opportunities and challenges. Participants can take to the water in kayaks, canoes and dinghies or learn new skills such as abseiling and archery. If you think physical activity would be more appealing to your Young Leaders, they’ll be able to try out the centre’s assault course or have a go at raft building. All those taking part will also have the unique opportunity to complete one of four additional sessions while on the trip. This isn’t compulsory but for girls wanting to expand their skills or simply just have fun, it’s a fantastic experience. We have extended the deadline to the 7th December, so please send this out to your Young Leaders or Senior Section members that may be interested.
