A bond cleaning business is being developed through Townsville Multicultural Support Group (TMSG) and The Women’s Centre which is committed to the economic participation of women. The profits from this business will house homeless migrant women in the Townsville region. A trustworthy, honest and reliable woman who is committed to social justice and has the ability to grow a social enterprise is required. The job requires the successful applicant to clean and provide support and access to training for casual cleaners, gain cleaning contracts and grow and develop the cleaning business. It is a part-time position with the potential for it to become full-time. We require a woman with cleaning skills; sound business knowledge namely; effective record keeping, and time management and organisation skills. Excellent promotional and communication skills are required with a preference for someone with cross cultural communication skills. A driver’s license is essential.
