CALLOUT: The team were called out twice yesterday. The first call was to an injured walker near Shiresbrook. This incident was actually dealt with by our colleagues in Edale MRT and Derby were stood down. The second call, a short time later, was to a 68 year old man who had collapsed whilst climbing Thorpe Cloud. He was treated on scene by an EMAS ambulance crew who had arrived first and then the team evacuated the casualty by stretcher and rope protection system down the hill and through the river to the waiting ambulance.
