CAMBODIA: People gathered near the Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh on Friday, September 26, to protest the Australian government’s refugee deal with Cambodia. The agreement, due to be signed by Australian Immigration Minister Scott Morrison and Cambodian Interior Minister Sar Kheng later today, will see refugees from an Australian-run detention centre on the island of Nauru sent to Cambodia.In return, Cambodia will receive an extra $40 million in development aid over the next four years.
