CAMBODIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL Day 3: Well.. what can I can say, apart from the fact that it was the BEST LIVE CONCERT Ive ever been in my entire life and the BEST THING that have happened for our People in the US, for the longest time. It started a bit quietly, with the rain pouring lightly on the shy and quiet audience, but then it started to build up, and then people starting to pouring in the theatre, and then it got louder, and then it got crazier! Every Artist killed that stage with whatever they had. Every show was better and better, the line up was perfectly planned. We ended up with shows that were delights to our ears, and eyes, sounds you couldnt hear anywhere else. But what was mostly important, apart from the great showcase of talents and passion, was the positive vibe, the connection we all have during these 8 hours of concerts. Ive never seen so many hugs and hand shakes shared between our Khmer people from all over the place. Many just knew each other through Facebook, and heard about each others, but most never got to meet each other in person. What put me in a state of Euphoria was the LOVE, the PEACE and the UNITY ive felt at that moment! We were sharing the stage, the theatre, the music, the vibe, food and drinks, no one could stops us from enjoying that moment ALTOGETHER. It was CRAZY! Something is going on within our communities, and something is changing in the way we see things. CMF has shown us that we could all get along, love each other and work together, united for one common beautiful goal. And it worked. The day after the event, my Facebook was filled with pictures of smiles, laughters and hugs from the event. They say If you build it, they will come. We all came together as one, and hopefully more will follow and join the movement. Dont underestimate the power of Creativity and Arts. Lets get ready for the new Cambodian Golden Age! Peace, Love and Unity.
