CAMPAIGN! CAMPAIGN!! The Die Is Cast. We are between the ugly and the very ugly(APC n PDP). Campaigns will kick off today by the political parties. INEC is not helping the matter, The level of preparedness of INEC as evidenced in the shoddy manner the distribution of the PVCs was being handled. Most State in South West PVCs is not adequately distributed, their are polling unit in Lagos & Ogun with over a thousand voters, names were paste on the walls but no one to attend to the registered voter. Six weeks to General Election......hmmmmmm... It is make or break for Nigeria. We will pray for Nigeria though. We will ask God to forgive our leaders. We will ask God for our personal forgiveness too. Maybe, just maybe, we follow our prayers with doing the right things like not rigging the elections. Like not asking soldiers and political thugs to kill our fellow citizens. Like our political leaders having a short meeting and agreeing that Nigeria is greater and more important than any of us. Like genuinely, we Nigerians looking at one another and seeing a fellow human being instead of Igbo, Ijaw, Urhobo, Hausa, tiv, Idoma, Fulani, Efik, Edo, Yoruba, Kanuri and so on. Lets for once see Nigeria as collectively owned that is worth protecting. Honestly, we treat Nigeria as if a brand new country is waiting somewhere for each and every one of us.
