What is embodied knowledge? What is useful knowledge? The Living Library is a physical space to unfold and create documentation of dance and performance from the wide community of artists who gather here each year since 2001, and to open up a tangible and continuous web of information, papers and visuals related to this community. As a living and moving archive, we intend to rethink, rewrite, demystify, translate and recycle the texts and documents that have been created—without allowing them to idle on the shelves.
