CAN ANYONE DEFINE THE POWER OF PRAYER? More things are wrought by prayer... Than this world dreams of --- TENNYSON. ASSALAMOALAYKUM.... May peace be with you.. No man can define the power of prayer. It is one of the great mysteries like birth, death and pain. Most people pray only when they want something. That is the kind of cupboard love we offer to our Maker; But we can be sure that He, THE ALMIGHTY, hears and understands our petitions, however self centred they may be. It is amazing that more people do not avail themselves of GODS house for wayside refreshment. When one is thirsty one drops into a café for a cup of tea or coffee. Why then, when weary and distraught, do we not walk naturally into a place of worship in search of peace and healing ? A few moments are sufficient for the influences of the holy atmosphere to work their magic on breaking hearts and jangled nerves.. once outside the door, the on rush of events soon bowls us over again, but the heart that has felt the impulse to pray will never succumb to despair. There will always be this green oasis in the desert of the worlds unrest, this hidden spring of power waiting to be tapped. As we penetrate deeper into the mysteries of prayer, we find that less emphasis is laid upon supplication and more upon worship; but whether it is one of intercession, supplication or adoration, prayer is always beneficial to the one who prays...We rise from the ground knowing a tautness has been slackened and tension relaxed. We have trans-acted secret business with something beyond ourselves... Some-one, some-where, has taken the strain. JUMMAH MUBARAK and LOVE to one and all... BLESS YOU..
