CAN MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS TRACK USE OF BELIZEAN - TopicsExpress

CAN MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS TRACK USE OF BELIZEAN PASSPORT? I would imagine the technology is available for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Immigration & Nationality Department to track where a Belizean passport is used anywhere in the world. A tracking system which shows a world map of where the Belizean passport is used to pass a border point. Naturally such a map would indicate that there is regular traffic to Central America, Mexico, U.S and Canada, the Caribbean and scattered places throughout the planet that Belizeans travel on business, study or vacation. But suppose that same map also shows heavy movement of passport holders in Ukraine, Russia, China, Taiwan, various Middle Eastern and African countries, as well as the Far eastern nations; what would we say about this? Belizean passport movement in areas that we know hardly any baan-ya Belizean has ever been. I know that this tracking technology is available. One such system was recently installed at the international airport with the assistance of the Americans. This latest electronic scanning equipment collects all that information and stores it in a central data bank which is accessible by the US security forces for analysis---- this data is collected from all over the world. Belize should also be able to access that information to get a world map picture of the use of Belizean passport worldwide.
