CAN YOU HELP TEAM WENCH? Team Wench, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity group, is holding its 7th Multiple Sclerosis Fantasy Ball (Goblins & Gears III – Return of the Goblin) to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society on October 26, 2013. Over $30,000 has been raised by this event towards Multiple Sclerosis research. Yet, without the support of people like you, this would not have been possible. Please consider helping us. Here’s how you can help: Funds will be raised through ticket sales to the Ball and a series of on-site raffles that we will perform during the event. I am writing today in hopes that your company will be able to donate an item, service, or gift certificate for our raffles. The money raised from these raffles goes directly towards Team Wench’s donation for Multiple Sclerosis research. In appreciation, your company‘s name will be advertised with your donation, as well as on our website at teamwench.org/msfb. Additionally, advertising in the event’s program, which will be received by every participant of the Ball, is available for purchase for as little as $12.00. Please contact [email protected] for more details if you are interested in program advertising. The deadline for receiving donations or program advertising materials is September 30, 2013. If you are unable to meet this deadline, please contact me as soon as possible. “Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision.” There is no cure for MS yet, but medication can help to slow the course and/or symptoms in some patients. It is our hope that this event will help the National Multiple Sclerosis Society finally find a cure. For more information about Team Wench or our fundraising activities, check us out on the Web at teamwench.org. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I look forward to hearing from you about your donation. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
