CANCELLATION OF SOMER’s SUNDAY WORKSHOPS - We are sorry to cancel the workshops scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, April 13, but Somer caught a bad cold and is unable to teach tomorrow. Moreover, he doesn’t want to pass on his germs. We really appreciate your support. This last month and a half with him has been fun and intense with lots of learning. It was a wonderful surprise to have him here in Chicago at this time of the year, but because of his visa problems, we had the opportunity to enjoy his teaching and his dancing. In spite of the surprise of his presence at this time, we were able to draw a good number of dedicated students. Your response to his own intelligent and fun way to teaching tango was a big reward for him, Marco and me. Again, we are sorry to disappoint you by cancelling the Sunday workshops, but Somer worked very hard this month and a half, and I’m sure that the students who came faithfully for his workshops and/or had private classes with him felt that their dance skills improved substantially. At least this is what I’ve been hearing from most of his student during this period. He will be leaving town tomorrow night with a warm feeling of accomplishment and support from some serious learners from Chicago. He will be back soon, at the beginning of June, and we are planning other series of amazing workshops for you. Shine your shoes and be prepared. A tango hug for all of you, Ana Savitzky
