CANCER-FREE....CANCER-FREE....CANCER-FREE....Thank you Lord for granting me the healing, the care from health care to home, for friends and family prayers and for giving me a second chance at life! Maria and I just got back from the chemo doc, who said the CT Scan looked great, no trace of cancer and all the blood work was fine! So, he suggested to keep the chest port for six-months, there is no rush to remove it, some folks keep it for ten years. Second, I need to show up at the horse-pistol once a month for a ten-minute Heparin flush of the port to keep it clean and functional....piece a cake! Third, see the doc every three months for a check-up from the neck-up and blood work with a CT scan every six months....no problemo! Holy cow...I got to walk away from this train wreck and lead a normal life, or for those of you who know me, as normal as it gets for me...huh..huh! A special thanks to my wonderful wife who sacrificed a lot to make this outcome a success. Thanks Babe, I love you very much! To my son CJ who donated his time, his car and his concern in seeing me through this whole contraption. CJ...you bees da man...and I love you too! To the rest of you folkies out there in friendship and family land, thank you for always being there for us throughout this time......okay...Ill say it...I love you guys too! Yip-yip-YIPEE! YEE-HA and Hip-Hip-HOORAY!!!!! Thanks everybody!!!
