CANCER UPDATE: What I HAD ( emphasis on HAD) was INVASIVE LOBULAR CARCINOMA. The concern was that it had spread to my Lymph Nodes.They took 2 out and they both tested Negative.(for those that translate.. this means there is NO Cancer) My cancerous lump was removed along with tissue from both breasts. ALL tissue was negative ( NO Cancer) My lump was 2.5 centimeters( about an inch. So this is GREAT news!!!!! I honestly dont how to thank everyone for your consistent positive thoughts and prayers, even when I am not on here to see them. It is truly what has made me persevere when things felt very dismal. With all of the above said, I am having a lot of trouble with my left side. There is swelling and my stitches are not dissolving as fast as they should and Im afraid to say it, but I have a lot of pain. I do have meds, to take, and they work well, but I feel drugged and they make me itch. With all of this said, I am seeing an Oncologist to discuss Chemo( for the anti- chemos out there, please see the word discuss) I WILL have 33 days of Radiation on my left breast starting in 2 to 3 weeks. This will make sure everything is gone. I also am having a sonogram and another mammogram on the right side as soon as it can be squished. I have hours where I feel great and Iover do it then I crash. I also thought i was supposed to be moving my arms around ect. and I am supposed to be still ,in order to heal. I know people understand about missed Birthdays and things like that, but because we communicate via FB and e-mail, I like to find a pic and be somewhat personal. So watch out if I missed yours and realize it.
